Management MedSolutions was one of the first companies in the country to recognize the need for quality radiology management services. We acted on that need, developing a program that leads the way in assuring high tech diagnostic imaging is used appropriately in the care of patients. Our approach is to encourage cost-effective imaging tests while maintaining high-quality patient care. To address questionable or negotiable medical necessity issues, we developed quality clinical guidelines based on literature and expert guidance. Our team of experienced professionals, including board-certified physicians, work cooperatively with healthplans and physicians in improving the delivery of outpatient diagnostic imaging. May of 1996, when we signed our first radiology management contract.
MedSolutions began in 1992 as an owner/operator of diagnostic imaging
centers, but quickly saw the increasing need in the managed care industry
for intensely focused radiology management.
In 1997, MedSolutions’ diagnostic imaging centers were sold to
HealthSouth, and MedSolutions began to focus solely on medical management. As more and more payors are seeking radiology management, our growth continues. MedSolutions operations and systems are scalable and efficient in preparation for this growth.
